The whole morning I was freaking out since Pura said Gil wasn’t answering his phone to confirm he was gonna ‘hang out’ with him. It wasn’t until around 2ish that he found out he was at home. Meanwhile Jeremy picked me up along with the brothers before we picked up Kim. We headed over to Party City to buy balloons aka our floating lights. I ended up only buying three cus I’m poor haha. We then made our way to Bed, Bath & Beyond. Since Pura was running late to pick up Gil, we did a run-through of the plan. So basically, I had to hide in the elevator and when Gil presses the button to open it, I pop up with my poster asking him to prom. Why an elevator? It’s an inside joke haha. And the balloons were just for decoration. The part of Gil was played by Jeremy. I rode up and down the elevator practicing, while he pretended to act surprised. After three tests, we waited upstairs for Pura to give us a call to get ready, but it was a fail lol. Gil ended up taking the elevator and seeing me standing there, confused on what to do. I just laughed and asked him. He automatically said yes and gave me a hug. We decided to re-do the whole thing though cus I wasn’t satisfied that I didn’t get to do my plan. So I rode down in the elevator while Gil took the escalator; however, I beat him downstairs and had to wait. But once he got there and pressed the button to open the elevator, the elevator went up again. So he raced upstairs to meet me, but once again, I went in the opposite direction. Eventually we found each other after going up and down several more times and I asked him again. He agreed again and we both took the elevator down. The end!
